I keep getting questions about being “sponsored” and how I get “PAID” for the videos I make and that all the videos I do now are “sponsored;” and that I only do videos to get Free Stuff!

First of all, there’s this thing called FTC where every blogger MUST answer 4 questions.

1) Did you get this product for free by the company, or did you buy it yourself?
2) Are you getting paid or compensated by this company for this video?
3) Are you affiliated with this company?
4) Is this your honest opinion or a paid review?

And yes, I do answer these in each video… I just don’t SAY it in the video, but it’s in the description box… ALL THE TIME; and when you look… there has been NO VIDEOS whatsoever that stated that I was getting paid for it. (I never get paid for any videos! And even if I do, does it matter?) Yes I might be sponsored in that video, but I don’t get any $ AT ALL!

Someone asked: i remember back then you were cool on youtube but now you’re so fake. it’s like you’re only in it for the free shit and you only do reviews on the free crap companies give you.

And my answer to this nonsense.
“you can think whatever you want… “haters are gonna hate”
but maybe you should take a second look. you don’t know me, i don’t know you. don’t judge. and fyi, just because i get FREE products from different companies DOESN’T mean that i HAD to make a video on them. I CHOSE to make the videos that I did because I LIKE/LOVE the product and well, i thought you guys/or some of you would too. But if you don’t like it then don’t watch. Another thing, I’m sure not all my videos are sponsored so don’t go telling me that, that is all I do.

Also, I wanna point out that JUST BECAUSE “someone” (not just me) is getting more sponsors doesn’t mean they are fake! If they are fake, people wouldn’t be interested in them/even companies. They gotta be doing something right noh?

Another thing, I admit, it IS nice to get FREE stuff; I mean.. who doesn’t like getting FREE stuff? It’s nice to get something back from the hours that me (or other youtubers/beauty bloggers) put into the videos/blog posts we make… You gotta be passionate on what you do, and to actually get far on it! So don’t go telling me I’m only in it for free stuff! I’ve come a long way hun and I love & enjoy what I do, and that’s why I do it.

So, think before you write something like this to somebody.

Oh and ANOTHER thing that I wanna point out..
I have NEVER lied in any of my videos! I’m an honest person, if I don’t like the product -it’s either no videos will be made or I will tell you guys that I don’t like it (if I HAD to make a video -for some companies DO want me to make a video for them). But fortunately for me, all the products that I have gotten so far… are GOOD and I love them. ♥

You tell ‘em then! I hate when people think that you owe them an explanation and want to find a reason to hate on you.
You do you mama, cause everything I’ve seen you do has worked well for you as far as I can see and you can’t lie about the way something looks when we’re looking at it.

haters ARE gonna hate. they are just jealous that you get free products sometimes. but hey, you work hard for those things! does everyone hate celebrities for this? you know how many FREE products they get? sheesh. keep doin what you do and ignore the haters! :)

I agree you’re like a youtube celebrity and that’s why you’re capable of getting all this free stuff :) not only is it helping you, but it’s helping the company as well.
