Before I get started on this review, I think you should know the following.
» I have combination skin. I usually get oily around my t-zone area.
» My skin is not really acne prone for I’ve never really had acne before except for when I get a pimple here and there so I don’t really know how this will be for those who ARE acne prone.
» I’m in shade NC35-NC40 in MAC, Medium Plus-Medium Dark in MAC powders, 4N1 Wheat in Estee Lauder Double Wear & Bisque 6W in Lancome Teint Miracle.

This foundation comes in 9 different shades.

What it is:
A brightening, oil-free liquid foundation with SPF 25 PA+++ protection.

What it does:
» Natural finish
» Light to Medium Coverage (buildable)
» Has light diffusing properties

What else you need to know:
What does PA+++ mean? SPF stands for the protection grade of the UVB filter. PA stands for the protection grade of the UVA filter. The highest standard of sun protection rating is the three-star PA rating. Benefit’s foundation has three stars, which translates to the highest level of protection. (source)

MY THOUGHTS:
I personally love the foundation! Honestly one of my favorites of all time and here’s why…

» Packaging: Look at it! It’s adorable :) The packaging alone makes me what to buy it and not only that but it comes with a PUMP. Pumps are amazing and kind of a must when it comes to liquid foundations. ♥ Also, this pump is totally controllable and will give you just the right amount.

» Shades: This foundation comes in 9 shades, which I think is really good.. though the shades have more of a yellow tint. So that could be a problem to some people. If that kind of scares you, I suggest actually going to a counter near you and getting swatched :)

» Oil-free & SPF25 PA+++: This foundation does a great job on keeping my t-zone oil-free throughout the day, even through humidity so I totally love that. Like I mentioned in the video, it lasts up to 8 hours for me. As for the SPF, I love that it has that for that’s really good to have, especially for summer, but sometimes foundations that has SPF may give you a white cast in photos (with flash). I haven’t had a chance to see if this does but I will later on and will let you guys know.

» Coverage/Finish & Weight: The coverage gives you a natural finish, semi-matte I would say :) It looks really natural that sometimes it looks like you’re not even wearing makeup. It’s also really light weight which makes it feel like you’re not wearing foundation at all. ♥

» Others: As I mentioned in the video, it is really easy to work with (blendable) and fragrance-free.

Update

Summer has officially started for me :) So so excited to go home ♥ We’re currently packing and are determined to have the whole house packed up by today.. (I wanna go home today) lol. I will be working this summer at my old job (waitressing/hosting) so that’s exciting! I was going to work at my last job from last summer, but I just don’t want to do the 12hr shifts on weekends ever again! (And that’s the only one they would give me, so I passed on that).

Anyways, I can’t wait to go home and redecorate my old room hehe. I’m only bringing home a couple of my things from here, but since we have renters for the summer (we always have our house rented out during the summer), I have to put everything away. Though we’re locking my beauty room because that’s where we’re storing everything, I get to leave some of my clothes and home decors in here :) Hopefully the renters will leave it alone… I’m always so paranoid that they’d steal.

My Thoughts: This kit is amazing! The POREfessional is a great primer -I mostly use it on my T-zone area and it minimizes my pores and also keeps it from getting oily throughout the day. I’ve also used it to prime my whole face a couple of times and it worked wonderfully. I really have nothing bad to say about this primer. It’s one of the best primers I’ve ever tried and I would definitely repurchase it again.
The Erase Paste is pretty good as well. It has a very creamy consistency, bit sticky but not too much, stays on all day and does a really great job on brightening my undereye area. I would probably repurchase this product again.
As for Girl Meets Pearl, I didn’t really see what’s so great about it. To me it was just another highlighter/illuminizer. I already have the High Beam which is my favorite so… yeah lol. But it is a pretty good product though. The color is different from the High Beam. Maybe I’ll use it more later on this summer :)

My Thoughts: Oh MY Gosh!!! This kit is amazing!!! It is such a great deal! I mean really… the Hoola Bronzer alone is $28.00!? & the High Beam is what… $26.00 or something!? And this kit, with 4 items that are full size is only $38.00! Who can pass that up!?
I’ve actually been wanting this kit since, November/December 2011.. it was actually on my Christmas list and well, what do you know? I told you I’d end up buying it myself lol. Any who, I’ve been meaning to buy this kit for so long now but it’s been out of stock and FINALLY it was back last week so I just had to get it.
I refused to buy the Hoola Bronzer alone because I knew about this kit lol So I was like, I’ll wait and thank you Jesus! lol Anyways, the Hoola is an amazing bronzer. It’s definitely my favorite (along with the Milani Bronzer in Light). It’s the perfect color for my skintone, it gives me a nice sunkissed glow and doesn’t have any shimmer, and the best thing of all… it doesn’t look muddy over time! I love this bronzer. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out!
High Beam, what can I say!? This is my favorite highlighter/illuminizer ♥ I have about 2 sample things of this (which I haven’t even managed to used up yet, because really… a little bit of it goes a long way) but having this full size just makes everything so much much much BETTER! lol
Gilded, I was pretty excited about this actually. The color looks beautiful and it IS! I love using this on my bottom waterlines and on my tear duct area. It really brightens/opens up the eyes. It’s a wonderful product :)
BADgal Brown, as for this mascara…I’m not sure if I’ll even use it at all. But we’ll see :) I have the black one and I LOVE IT! (It’s what I’m using now) So I’m sure I’ll like the performance of this -holds my curls, gives it volume and length, doesn’t flake off and it lasts all day!… I just don’t know if the color will be good on me.

Soap & Glory Face Soap and Clarity™ 3-In-1 Daily-Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash ($16.00)

My Thoughts: My favorite cleanser yet! It has a minty feeling when applied so I do love using this in the morning because it feels like it wakes me up. Also, it does a great job on taking off makeup. Oh, another thing is that I love the micro beads in it. It’s not too harsh on your skin when massaging it in so I love the feeling… it feels like you’re exfoliating :)

I have noticed that my pores aren’t as noticeable like they were before. Also, I really like how this products makes my skin feels after. I’m really glad that I tried out this product and I highly recommend it :)

Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation ($39.00)

My Thoughts: This is my HOLY GRAIL LIQUID FOUNDATION, next to my Double Wear by Estee Lauder. Honestly, I would repurchase this over and over and over again. This is actually my 2nd bottle, my first one.. I bought at the end of September 2011 and it is now almost gone. Any who, this foundation is lightweight, has medium to full coverage, lasts all day (I’ve tried it for up to 10hrs), oil free, fragrance free, has SPF but doesn’t have a white cast on photos, looks natural and has a semi matte finish. I love this foundation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! ♥

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural ($29.00)

What it is: A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish.

What it does: Provides perfect low coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day.

My Thoughts: Another product that I repurchase :) My first one was from June 2011 and it is now gone, April 2012. I really love this powder. A lot of powders that I’ve tried in the past, can look a bit cakey but this, it looks natural and the color suits me perfectly! Also, it lasts all day and is oil free.
