♥ Finally received my March Glossybox. I’m just in love with the “theme.” The Glossybox magazine has lots of fun stuff about the NYFW, which I really enjoyed reading. As for the products, I’m really excited to try the cheek & lip tint, along with the matt brown eyeliner & moisturizing face cream. If you guys want to see a review on any of the products, feel free to let me know :) ‘Til next time! Don’t forget to check out Glossybox.

My thoughts

I made my design and ordered it in the afternoon on February 20th. My case arrived on February 26th. I was really really surprised on how fast my case arrived and the quality is amazing! I’ve had my fair share of phone cases (this type that snaps onto the back of my iPhone) but this one is just really good quality! It’s not plastic, okay, actually it probably is but it’s super sturdy! It’s the sturdiest “plastic” iPhone case that I own.
Another thing is the color. I was really scared that my design might be too “light” but it came out great. It’s pretty true to color (though my photos above doesn’t do it justice). The color is a bit more vibrant in real life.
I’m really just in love with the quality and I also love the fact that the design wraps around the case. I found myself asking “HOW DO THEY DO THAT!?” lol I really love my case.
For the quality that you get, and the fact that you can customize your own phone case, it’s totally worth it!

    Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous

Before I get started on this review, I think you should know the following.
» I have combination skin. I usually get oily around my t-zone area.
» My skin is not really acne prone for I’ve never really had acne before except for when I get a pimple here and there so I don’t really know how this will be for those who ARE acne prone.
» I’m in shade NC35-NC40 in MAC, Medium Plus-Medium Dark in MAC powders, 4N1 Wheat in Estee Lauder Double Wear & Bisque 6W in Lancome Teint Miracle.
» NOTE that I also like to use foundations that are a shade lighter than me. I don’t know why but it just looks better I think after I do my bronzer and all that :)

  • Retails for $30.00, 9.5 g net wt 0.34 oz
  • This foundation comes in 3 different shades: Light, Medium, Deep
  • Why Benefit loves it:
Our oil-free, cream-to-powder formula fakes foundation…it’s silky, even perfection for your complexion! This “instant beauty boost” will even out your skintone, making it look chart-topping gorgeous! Compact includes application sponge and mirror for touch-ups on the go! (source)
  • What it is:
    A sheer, oil-free, cream-to-powder complexion perfector.
  • What it is formulated to do:
This lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product smooths out imperfections and evens skin tone with a silky, smooth finish that’s super natural and super gorgeous. (source)
  • MY THOUGHTS:
This foundation is hands down one of my favorites, something I would definitely repurchase and here’s why…

» Packaging: It’s pretty awesome I think. I love that it’s compact -with a huge mirror and a separate compartment for the sponge.

» Shades: This only comes in 3 shades which in my opinion is alright since it’s a sheer foundation :) It’s something that can be blended easily so I don’t think anyone would have a problem with matching it at all.

» Oil-free & Lasting Power: The longest I’ve used this foundation was around 8 hours and it seriously keeps my T-zone oil-free compare to other foundations out there. I’ve even used this foundation on humid days during the summer and it did an amazing job. The coverage also doesn’t fade overtime which is great considering it’s not even a full coverage foundation. (I find that to be epic!)

» Coverage/Finish & Weight: As mentioned already, it’s a sheer foundation so the coverage is very light, but enough to even out your skin tone -getting rid of any discoloration. Also it has a natural finish which I think looks gorgeous! Oh and I also love the silky & smooth feeling that it gives you. As for weight, it is super light. It really feels like you’re not wearing any foundation at all.

    » Others: Blendable & fragrance-free.

  • TIPS
    1. Since this is a “cream to powder” product, make sure that you apply moisturizer before using.
    2. I recommend using the sponge that it comes with or a dense brush ie. Sigma F80, Sigma F82.
