Honestly, I didn’t like this bag at first. I thought the texture of it was a little odd. But after staring and touching it for a while, I started to fall in love. I’m astonished by the gold flakes (what’s new!?) and the “cork” detailing on it I just find so unique that made me love the clutch even more.

WOW is really all I can say! This is one of my favorite pieces from JustFab. The quality and structure of this bag is amazing. I am in love with the color and texture and omg, just the detail and all the compartments inside. You definitely can NOT go wrong with this clutch!

My FAVORITE for this season by far! I feel like it’s just a jaw dropper! haha I am in love with this bag. The studs add so much character to it and goodness, the leather for this clutch is so soft. YOU NEED THIS! haha I wanted to get it in the color “mint” but sadly, it’s sold out :(

I have this in black and since I liked it so much I thought I’d give this color a go ♥ The “tan” is more of an orange which is different -so I like that. The quality of the bag is great! I wouldn’t stuff so much in this though because it definitely has some weight to it already.

This weekend though, we’re really gonna do some packing and hopefully have about 80% of it done. Any who, Tom was actually gone for a week for he went downstate to help work on our house. The house isn’t completely finished yet but it’s pretty darn close :) Here’s a before and after photo.

I still can not believe that Tom bought this house. I was honestly expecting just getting an apartment for our first year, but then we found this house and well… as much as I did want it, I didn’t want to get my hopes up on getting an actual house. Little did I know! I’m really thankful. Just thinking about it… really, it makes me cry.

To those who don’t know me personally, I grew up in the Philippines, in a really small house -a one bedroom house. When I was 9 years old, my parents took my sister, brother and I to the U.S. to have a better life. We lived in a two bedroom apartment at first and then after a year my parents got us a big house.
That was the first time I ever had my very own bedroom.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is, to have this be mine and Tom’s very first home together is just so mind boggling. I’m so thankful to have him in my life. Seriously, sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve him. He’s just so nice… the nicest guy I know and is always giving me the best of everything. Same goes for his dad, who’s always so helpful. I’m just really lucky… no, BLESSED (yup, that’s the correct word). Thank you god for blessing me with such amazing people in my life. I can’t wait to start the new chapter of my life with Tom in our dream home! I love him so much -seriously, he IS the perfect guy. What more could I ask for?

The first thing I did was purchased the boxes from Joann for ONLY $3.74 each (ON SALE!) Plus they were having a $1 shipping so it was a steal! After so much research, this was perfect. I tried those file/memory boxes and just thought they look kind of cheap. Though I really liked the lunch box looking boxes (I believe I saw some online at Joann or WalMart) but these cigar boxes were cheap enough :) and looks better hehe.

I painted the outside with two coats of White Vintage acrylic paint and one coat on the inside. Then took this template, traced it with a pencil and painted the inside of the lid with this light golden color. I then sharpee-d “be my maid?” inside the bracket. And let me tell you, that took me a long time for I just wanted it to be perfect.

Then it was time for the contents. This I thought was the SUPER fun part! I just wanted to fill the box with EVERYTHANGGG! lol But I contained myself. First off, I lined the bottom with pink tissue paper -you know me, something just HAS to be pink in there ;)

So this is what the box looks like when you first open it. ♥ Completely adorbs! lol I used a doily (super cheap from WalMart, baking section) and wrote each of the girls name on them.

I wanted to be up front with my girls and for them to know what to expect for the wedding. So I printed these out.
I used a 12inx12in Textured Cardstock paper in Snow White (WalMart), then cut them into 4×12′s (Print size, 4×6). I loved the “tiered” look so that’s what I did here. I used my scallop scissors to add a more feminine touch to it instead of leaving it just a straight edge. Cute right!?

All the “wedding info” are put together with a little ribbon tied into a bow. I also printed off some pictures -wedding inspirations and new & old pictures of me and my girls ♥

Lastly, with the help of Dogeared, I was able to give each girl an amazing present, a beautiful necklace, as a reminder of how grateful I am to have them in my life. Each piece is amazingly gorgeous and just perfect!

So I am very very happy and pleased with how everything came out. And even though it was really time consuming and a bit more costly than I thought, it is worth it -for my girls deserve only the best ♥ I totally can not wait for them to get their box and crossing my fingers that they love it just as much as I do ♥
