I usually don’t post videos back to back but once I finished editing this video all day today, I just couldn’t wait. I really love how it turned out and I think what I really love about it is that half of it, Tom filmed from our little date on Saturday. Okay, so the other day I was organizing my desk and realized that the only “black” thing on it was my mouse and it just had to go. So I was actually doing to buy a white mouse pad but then I came across these: Glitter Mouse Pad, Suede & Gold Leaf Mouse Pad, White & Gold Mouse Pad. So I was like “zzzzOMGGGGGGGG” lollll Ran into my crafts closet and dug out what I had! The only thing I had to buy was the spray adhesive and suede fabric :)
I was actually going to go the decorative paper route but since my room is going to have polka dots (soon) I decided to make something similar to the Suede & Gold Leaf Mouse Pad ♥ Sadly I don’t have any gold leaf aside from my gold leafing pen but that didn’t work out as well for it leaked onto the fabric, so I used my paint and it worked perfectly -and so much easier! (the martha stewart paint is good for using on wood, metal, fabric, you name it! :D it’s awesome!)
What do you guys think? I love how it turned out and ahhh! Just so much better than having a black mouse pad on my desk lol It was such an eyesore. Any who, definitely check out the links above to get more inspiration on this :)

I finally started working on getting my beauty room together! ♥ First task was to find me a new dresser. I had planned to get the MALM 6 drawer dresser from Ikea but well, Ikea is 2 hours away and shipping for it was like $300+ so I passed and luckily found this beauty at Target! I was going to order the white one but then I saw this birch wood finish in store and literally fell in love ♥ I just love the finish and how light it is. And surprisingly enough it is super sturdy!
I definitely recommend it!
Do you see that beauty in the corner!? AHHHHHH I still can not believe that I found that at TJ Maxx for only $59.99 (my beautiful gold mirror). Honestly, it is humongous! I seriously don’t even know what to say about it, I’m still pretty speechless, I just love it so much -it’s perfect!
As for everything else in the room, it is still a work in progress. I’m seriously so stoked though! I pretty much have everything I need for all the projects I plan on doing. Also my desk and bookcase has been order and should be here early next week! *squeels* I can not wait! I will definitely keep you guys posted – I will be blogging about every single DIY that I do for my beauty room/office. ♥ So don’t forget to follow my blog so you don’t miss a post.
